Xavier de Irala. President of Iberia: Airline Management

In 1996, José María Aznar appointed him as the president of Iberia, under the authority of the Ministry of Public Works. From this position, he led the privatization process. After its completion in 2001, the new private shareholders confirmed him as the president of the company.

Starting in 2003, he became the president of Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa (BBK).
